Very nice sideboard from Austinsuite and designed by Frank Guille. This UK brand was known for designing very stylish drawers and sideboards. They normally feature nice integrated grab handles just like this trendy sideboard. It has a very plain Scandinavian Danish style and nice reddish teak veneers and rosewood fronted handles. This has a six well proportioned drawers with the top centre drawer showing the gold Austinsuite badge. This sideboard is a much sought after compact size. With lovely sleek tapered legs . Stunning item that would fit very well within someone’s retro themed or contemporary home.
The sideboard has been cleaned back. The unit has then been refinished in layers of hare wax oil. This has given a deep shine to the lovely smooth veneer wood. This is a exceptional example of a well looked after piece of mid century furniture. The cabinet shows minimal use and minimal marks and damage. There is a very feint ring mark on the right side top (shown in the pictures). The overall condition is a high 8.5 out of 10.
