Very nice chest of drawers from Austinsuite and designed by Frank Guille. This uk brand was known for designing very nice and stylish drawers and sideboards. They normally feature nice integrated grab handles just like this stylish chest. These drawers have a wonderful symmetrical teak grain veneer. This has a six good size drawers for storage and on top of slender tapered teak legs. Stunning item that would fit very well within someone’s retro themed or contemporary home.
The unit has been cleaned back. The unit has then been refinished in layers of hard wax oil. This has given a deep shine to the lovely smooth veneer wood. This is a exceptional example of a well looked after piece of mid century furniture. The cabinet shows minimal use and minimal marks and damage. Very nice striking brain to the top and the overall condition is a high 8.5 out of 10.
