Compact Danish Sideboard In Teak With Sliding Doors

This is a stunning teak Danish made sliding door cabinet that dates back to the 1960s. This sideboard has two tall sliding doors with minimalist recessed handles. There is a very unusual size for mid century furniture. The build quality is very good and has wonderful colour of teak and patina. The high board is of a higher quality than G Plan and most other British manufacturers. The sliding doors reveal shelves to ones side and three internal drawers with shelving underneath. The sideboard is set on lovely turned original teak legs. This is a stunning cabinet made in Denmark that will make a statement in anyone’s home.

This cabinet has been cleaned refinished in a combination of danish oils and waxes to give it the deep shine that it would have had back in the 60s. This item is in very good condition and I would say its a very high 8 out of 10. There is a small mark score mark on the side which is shown in the pictures. The doors and the top are very clean and does show minimal wear but overall this is a stunning true Scandinavian item that would fit perfectly into a contemporary or retro designed home.
