This is vintage sideboard from William Lawerence of Nottingham. This Danish inspired style teak sideboard has a sleek design with minimal styling. This sideboard features plain doors and drawers with hidden handles. This is a well built item and has a lovely raised up stand on the back edge along with a nice round front edge. The cabinet has ample storage with two double cupboards and central cupboard. All have removable shelves. There is also two large drawers and a central smaller drawer. It has a large felted drawer with cutlery dividers. This is a lovely example of small batch furniture from the mid century with great built quality. The sideboard has been set upon 10” hairpin legs to raise the Sideboard and give it a more modern style. This is a large sideboard that will make a statement in anyone’s home.
This sideboard has been cleaned back and then re finished with layers of hard wax oil. This has given the sideboard a very deep shine and protection to the veneers and paint. The unit is a very high 8.5 out of 10 overall for Condition.
This is a used but well looked after item with plenty of retro charm and style. Please see photo’s for any obvious dents or knocks.
Hairpin legs can be changed in 2” increments to accommodate personal height preferences. They also come in a range of different colours and finishes.
