This is a very beautiful, and stylish vintage Mahogany and Rosewood, British made 1960s chests of drawers, set on solid Mahogany tapered legs. This chests of drawers Peter Hayward produced by Uniflex and it incorporates two small Rosewood drawers set above two large drawers, all with trumpet shaped brass handles. The quality of this chest of drawers is extremely high and made as well as some of the high end designer Danish furniture. Such a stunning set of drawers that will make an impact in anyones home.
The item has been professionally refinished. It has been cleaned and rubbed back and refinished with a buffing wax. This has enhanced the protection to the original finish and given the Rosewood grain a nice deep shine. The condition is very good. There is no damage to the top and it’s very clean all over. There is one gouge on the bottom drawer but hard to see. The overall condition is a 8.5 out of 10. Stunning item of week made British retro furniture
