Mid century chestof drawers from the Danish Furniture brand Soborg Mobelfabrik. These are and early example of high quality danish furniture from the 1950s. These have early touches of sleek mid century design and also some traditional features. They are made from a light teak with solid teak legs and have solid knocker style brass handles. The build quality of these drawers are very high and have three large drawers with ample storage. The set is a stunning example of danish furniture that has gone onto be the forefront for mid century design and furniture. These drawers will make an impact in a retro or contemporary styled home.
The condition of these drawers is very good. The top is clean from major defects but has some scratches into the varnish but not into the wood. They have a small filled part on the back edge. The top drawer fronts show some feint streaks in the varnish. They are feint and hard to see in the pictures. Very nice clean condition with a great worn in patina. After being cleaned back and refinished with a buffing wax chest of drawers are a 7.5 out of 10.
