This Is a very well made and unusual format sideboard from Denmark. This dates from around the 1960s. We are unsure of the brand or designer but it’s very typical Danish with the sliding doors and slim grab handles. The sideboard has very nice smooth teak veneer with lovely solid teak tapered legs. The sideboard has a very minimalist design and has strong Scandinavian influences. The unit consists of two sliding doors across with internal shelving. There is a large side lockable cupboard with internal shelf. There are two good size drawers behind the sliding doors. The drawers are lined with a white bottom which is the same as the internal cupboard backing. A very stylish item of original danish furniture from the mid century and with plenty of storage. This would look fabulous in a mid century modern or contemporary themed home.
The sideboard has been completely cleaned and rubbed back. Then it has been finished in layers of osmo hard wax oil to restore a deep shine to the teak and protect the vintage wood. This item is in good condition with a very clean top and all over nice veneer grain. The top does show some light feint marks along with a couple on the sides. There is some light feint marks to the leg frame. There is some odd rubbing marks inside the large cupboard but does not affect the outside. The item is After refinishing, the sideboard is a 8 out of 10 for condition and is a stunning example of high quality Danish mid Century furniture.
