This compact bureau is by the iconic mid century furniture brand of Ercol. Its made out of solid elm and has the stunning swirly grains that the early Ercol furniture had. This is one of the rarer items that is getting harder to source and has such wonderful build quality and charm. Would make a wonderful writing / laptop desk in a retro or modern home.

The writing desk is in very good condition. The unit has been completely stripped and refinished in osmo hard wax oil. This has given a very nice deep shine to the elm grain along with a satin finish and protection to the wood. The overall condition is a high 8.5 out of 10. The item is from the early mid century and shows minimal signs of use and wear but is an extremely well looked after item.
