This is a small iconic side coffee table from the British brand Ercol. This table is the model 748 and is the very nice blonde finish that dates from the early 1960s. The blonde is Ercol’s lightest finish and the most popular. Ercol furniture is always made to a high standard and this one is constructed out of a solid elm top with beech legs and frame. Very stylish vintage item that would fit into a modern or contemporary dining area.
This side table is in immaculate condition. The table has been stripped and refinished with hard wax oil and a top coat of buffing wax. This has given the a deep shine to the elm and beech as well as protection to the wood. The top is very clean along with the frame and legs. The overall condition is a 9 out of 10.
