This is a G Plan compact sideboard from the early E Gomme Brasilia Range. This has a very high built quality along with stunning solid afromosia grab handles. This sideboard has very nice grains and minimal styling along with a very practical layout. There are double bi folding doors to ample storage with shelving. Below there are a line of three drawers, the left hand drawer is a felt lined cutlery drawer.
This sideboard is in stunning vintage condition, the cabinet has been cleaned back and finished with a multiple layers of shellac French polish and wax. As with most mid century furniture, there will be signs of prior use, but nothing to detract from how fabulous this sideboard looks. There is very minimal signs of use and only noticeable defect are a couple of slightly raised veneer spots on the top but hard to see. Overall this is a 9 out of 10 for condition. This is an impressive looking and well built peice of original mid century furniture.
The cut outs holes on the back have since been repaired.
