Stunning G Plan Teak 1970s Sideboard. A very nice example of this iconic item of furniture from G Plan’s Fresco range. Made from teak veneer with afromosia edging and solid wood grab handles. This model of sideboard has a long slim cutlery drawer over two ample storage cupboards, flanked either side by two larger storage cupboards with shelf in each. This particular sideboard has had the plinth removed and set on solid teak coloured 6” wooden legs, giving the sideboard a fresh look with a more mid century feel. A very well built item, as with most G Plan furniture with stunning teak grains.
The condition of the sideboard is very good. It has been cleaned down and refinished with a combination of danish oil and waxes. The unit now has the deep shine that it once would have had new from the G Plan factory. This sideboard is a very high 8.5 out of 10 for condition and only has minimal surface scratches and signs of wear. Please see photographs for any obvious knocks or dents to the item. The sideboard has clean top but has slight fading from removal of a previous top unit.
