Original Mid Century Teak G Plan Fresco Floating Desk/ Dressing Table and matching stool.
This is a stunning example of a classic G Plan fresco floating desk. This is from the fresco range and made from teak veneer with the iconic long smiling grab handles made in afromosia. This G Plan range is one of the most popular and has a very strong Danish influence in the design. This desk has a bank of two drawers either side plus a lovely central hidden drawer lined in black velvet. This also comes with the lovely solid wood framed mirror and attachments. This comes with the matching stool in black vinyl. As with most G Plan furniture the build quality is very good and this desk is no exception. This would make a stunning addition to anyone’s home office or bedroom.
The unit has been thouroughly cleaned and refinished in a combination of danish oils and waxes to give it the deep shine that it would have had back in the sixties. This item is in very good condition and would say condition wise, its a 8.5 out of 10. This has a very clean top and this is stunning g plan item with lovely reddish grains so popular in the 60s . There are no significant marks or scratches. This desk shows very minimal wear and was very well looked after . Any marks or wear will be shown in the photographs.
