These are a matching pair of rare G plan armchairs. This pair are from the shelbourne range which was a short lived range of g plan furniture from the late 1970s. The armchairs have a shel like form and set in a solid teak coloured frame. The roll top form is what gives them the comfy look that makes them stand out from other armchairs from g plan. The pair are in a light minx colour velour fabric that compliments darker wood frame. The chairs have very nice Scandinavian design along with g plans high build quality. Its hard to come across anything from this range let alone a matching pair of chairs.
The chairs are in very clean original condition and have been lightly polished. The chair frames are very clean and show minimal signs of wear. One chair looks like it might of been sat in more than the other and shows slightly more wear. The chairs are not new and are vintage items but show wear in line with age.
