This lovely minimal design cabinet was designed and made by Herbert E Gibbs. Its made from a light teak and has very plain but subtle styling that was very iconic of the mid century. It is very well made and a good quality item along the same lines as G Plan. It has two sliding glass doors with two adjustable shelves inside for displaying lovely collectibles on. This also has a bottom storage section with two sliding teak doors. The unit has lovely half moon handles and original splayed wooden legs.
The cabinet has been throughly cleaned down and re finished using a hard wax oil to restore a deep shine to teak veneer. There are very minimal signs of wear and the cabinet it is very good order for the age. This item for overall condition is a 8 out of 10. There is slight fading on the inside of the glass display cabinet but nothing too major. it would be a stunning addition to any retro or modern home and would fit in seamlessly.
