We have this super stunning sideboard from GUBI. This is part of the 62 series and was designed by Greta M Grossman back in 1952. It was named the 62 as it was seen to be ten years ahead of its time. This cabinet can still be bought today and is priced over £2500. Grossman was a Danish architect based in California so this is why the 62 series sideboard has a very ‘out there’ atomic style to it. The sideboard is made from walnut veneer drawers and sides with gloss black laminate on the door and top of the sideboard. This is finished off with contrasting ball handles and ball feet on the legs. A very well made unit that has soft closing drawers and a great finish to the walnut. This would make statement in anyones home.
The sideboard is in great condition all over. There are some quite deep scratches to the top black laminate but the unit is damage free and all drawers and doors work very well. The sideboard has had a light polish to the laminate and the walnut. The overall condition is a 8 out of 10. Any significant marks will be shown in the pictures. This is not a new item so will show some signs of wear and light use.
