This lovely minimal design cabinet was designed and made by Herbert E Gibbs. Its made from a light oak and has very plain but subtle styling that was very iconic of the mid century. It is very well made and nice quality item around the same as G Plan. It has two sliding glass doors with two adjustable shelves inside for displaying lovely collectibles on. This has a slight slanted front plinth and nice small corner joint details.
The cabinet has been throughly cleaned down and re finished using a combination of waxes and oils to restore a deep shine to oak veneer. There are very minimal signs of wear and the cabinet it is very good order for the age. This item for overall condition is a 8.5 out of 10. it would be a stunning addition to any retro or modern home and would fit in seamlessly.
