This very unusual table was designed by IB Kofod Larsen and made in Denmark. We have not seen any other examples of rectangular version of this table. The table dates from the 1960s and is made to a very high standard. The table features a light teak with a wide edge with sculpted areas around the legs. The legs are made from solid afromosia and contrast very nicely with the lighter teak top. The table allows the extending leaves to be stored in the pull outs at either end and neatly stored under the table. This is very nice original item of high end Danish furniture that has a very sleek design and look.
The table has been completely stripped and refinished with osmo hardwax oil. This gives a nice deep shine to the wood with protection to the table top and legs. The table is in very good condition. There are small signs of use and wear as the table is from the 1960s but marks relate to the age. The leaves are very clean and the top is very clean and great condition. The table is overall a 8.5 out of 10 for condition.
