Very nice teak display cabinet from the late 1950s. We are unsure of the brand of this item but it has been made to a high standard. It’s very similar to some early Morris of Glasgow furniture. This slim line cabinet is constructed out of smooth solid teak with lovely atomic style handles, large sliding glass doors set upon sleek teak coloured wooden legs. There is a mirrored display section and wide cupboard all with shelving. This is a great item of Mid Century furniture that would complement anyones home.
The cabinet has been completely stripped back to the wood and refinished in a buffing wax. This has given a nice deep shine to the wood and brought out the grains of the contrasting wood veneers while protecting the unit. The cabinet shows signs of use and and has a small chip out the wood on the bottom corner and a filled chip on the door bottom edge. There are some very light marks on the top and sides but overall very clean item with a lot of class and style. An 8 out 10 for condition.
