Mid century Walnut dressing table. This dressing table was designed and manufactured in the UK. This is made by the renowned makers of Alfred Cox. Alfred cox are known for very good built quality and stylish designs. The dressing table is constructed with solid and veneer walnut. The dressing table features a bank of two drawers one end and a larger double drawer to the other side. There is a small central drawer to put any small collectibles. The drawers all have Angular brass handles with very nice shape. The dressing table has a very typical 1950s design along with strong early Scandinavian design influences. The body of the unit is sat upon lovely square tapered legs and is a very stylish item of furniture from the early mid century and with plenty of storage. Can be used with out the mirror to make a lovely compact desk.
The item has then been cleaned and refinished in a buffing wax to enhance the original varnish finish. This item is in stunning near immaculate condition with a very clean top and cabinet all over. Very solid with no lose parts and drawers run smoothly. The drawers are exceptional and are a high 8.5 out of 10 for condition and is a stunning example of high quality English mid Century furniture.
