Original Mid Century bedside table. This is one stand alone bedside table that has been hand made in solid walnut. This is a apprentice piece or a home project and the craftsmanship is very good. The small cabinet has got a strong early mid century design with the splayed legs and minimalist design. The unit has a drawer and a cupboard with shelf and lock ( we don’t have the key). The handles are similar but not exact but the unit has lovely hand cut dovetails and heavy feel. This is a nice looked after table and is in clean condition.
The unit has been cleaned down and then refinished with a buffing wax to give a deep shine to the wonderful walnut grains. Overall the Side table is a 8 out of 10 for condition and would make a stunning addition to anyone’s bedroom or used as standalone table. There is sign of a previous crack repair on one leg shown in the pictures.
