Original Mid Century bedside tables by G plan. These retro floating style teak bed side tables are from the lesser knows quadrille range and are perfect for that vintage themed bedroom. They are made from teak veneers with solid afromosia handles and legs. These have a very plain danish inspired design and date back to the 60s. They were originally on a headboard and now the leg has been adapted to fit in the middle. We feel they are better suited with a wall bracket as they give a modern floating look along with being adjustable to any size bed. They are very well constructed as with all g plan furniture and have a nice sliding drawer.
They have been cleaned and rubbed back. They have then been refinished in oil and wax combination. This has given the tables a deep shine to the smooth teak grains and and enhanced the protection of the wood. They are in good condition. Although they show signs of use and wear, after a refinish they have come up very well. There is a small mark on one top and edge. Overall they are a 7 out of 10 for Condition and would make a stunning addition to anyone’s bedroom.
