A beautifully designed Danish plank extending dining table designed for A.B.J Furniture of Denmark. The table frame is made from solid teak, the top and table leaves have an edging with a smooth teak veneer top. The design is typically Danish Modern, sleek, elegant and simple. The leaves are pulled out from underneath the floating top to create a larger table that will seat 6-8 comfortably. This is a stunning minimalist styled table that is exceptionally well made and will be an antique of the future. The table has been thoroughly cleaned and rubbed back. Then it has then been refinished in coats of water repellant hard wax oil to protect to enhance the and protect the wood. As you can see from the photos’ the table has held up very well over the last 50 years and the table is in stunning condition. There are no loose parts or any damage to the table and it’s a stunning example of high end Danish furniture from the mid century. Table is stamped underneath with makers mark.
