A scarcely seen, ‘model 393’ breakfast table /desk designed by Lucian Ercolani in the 1950s for Ercol.
The legs and lower spindled shelf are constructed from solid Beech, the top is solid Elm with stunning grain throughout.
This is Ercol’s lightest finish and the most popular. Ercol tables are always made to a high standard and this one is constructed out of a solid elm top with beech legs and frame. Very stylish vintage item that would fit into a modern or contemporary dining area or make a perfect home desk.
Condition and restoration:-
This table lovely table is in very good condition. The legs on this table are in very good order and show a very small amount of wear. Some wear marks to the bottoms of the legs. The top is also very very clean and with some smooth elm grains the top shows minimal use. The table has had some screws put into it in the past. These holes have been filled and the top has been completely stripped and refinished. The original finish has held up extremely well. Very clean example and the overall condition is a 8 out of 10 and has been completely refinished with light wax polish to give the table a deep shine and protection. please see photos for any obvious knocks or dents and the filled holes.
Chairs are on a separate listing and not included with this wonderful table. Can offer to sell separate ercol goldsmith it’s Windsor chair to go as a desk.
