G Plan Mid Century Form Five 1970’s Display Unit set on 14” Hairpin Legs. This lovely wall/display unit has a two door cupboard at the top of the unit, a display shelf and a Drop down leaf cupboard with removable shelf for storage.
This is from the short lived Form five range that has very strong danish design and very nice plain Teak grains. They have very nice moulded edging and very week built as all g plan furniture is. The unit has been updated with the industrial steel hairpin legs to give the item a modern sleek look. The item has been rubbed back and refinished using a combination of oils and waxes.
These are original items from the mid century and will show signs of wear but without any major defects. Overall the condition will be 8 out of 10. There will be signs of previous use but nothing to detract from how elegant the item looks. Very clean example of original G Plan British furniture.
For Health & Safety reasons, it is recommended that all our Bookcases/Display unit’s are fixed to the wall with Furniture Safety Straps as an anti-topple measure. Any screws must be attached to the tops of the units rather than through the back. Furniture straps are available to buy online from Amazon and from Argos.
