This iconic Mid Century Sideboard is by the UK brand of McIntosh. McIntosh are renowned for their high end sleek, Danish style sideboards of which this one is no exception. The wonderful sideboard is the 'Dunvegan’ model and was designed by Tom Robertson 1960-1969. The sideboard has the iconic sculpted grab handles and plain minimal doors that ooze style and quality. The sideboard has two large cupboards with shaped shelving inside. There is also a bank of three drawers which are sleek and minimal also with incorporated grab handles. At the right hand side there is a lovely drop down drinks cabinet with pull out cutting prep shelf. There is also a fixed grid bottle or glass holder.
The sideboard has been cleaned down and then refinished in a combination of Danish oil and buffing waxes. The condition is stunning and overall it’s a high 8.5 out of 10. There are some marks inside the sideboard but the outside is an exceptional example of refinished and well preserved vintage furniture. There are no marks or damage to the sideboard, it is a great example. Will make stunning addition to any retro or contemporary themed home.
