This is an unusual coffee table and is from the makers Mcintosh . This simplistically designed table has an extendable design with a centre drinks prep Formica insert. The table has a very functional design along with great build quality as with most Mcintosh’s of Kirkcaldy. This is a very versatile well built item of original mid century furniture that will fit nicely into a retro themed living room.
This coffee table has been rubbed and cleaned back. Then it has been refinished in multiple layers of oil and wax polish. This has given the table a deep shine and protection to the wonderful teak wood. This is a clean example but has some stain marks on the top that didn’t remove when we stripped and refinished the top. The l overall condition is a 8 out of 10. This is a vintage item so will show signs of previous use so please see pictures for any obvious defects or marks.
