This Arts and Crafts style dining set dates from 1976 and is made by the UK brand Reynolds of Ludlow. The stunning set is made completely out of solid teak and comes with 10 chairs. The table is a solid top refectory table with carving in the legs that match the detail on the chair. Garth Reynolds was inspired by the arts and crafts style and even worked with Gordon Russell in the Cotswold and this is where the inspiration come from for this set.
Reynolds of Ludlow ceased trading not long after this set was made so there are not too many examples out there. This is a stunning item that would fit well with retro and traditional items or in a contemporary home.
The dining set is in very nice used condition. The original varnish finish has held up very well and the table top is close to immaculate. There are 10 chairs and one shows sign of a repair to the leg but structurally all chairs are fine. They shows some use and marks but nothing major. The original upholstery is to be cleaned and one chair has a minor repair to the fabric.
This has been cleaned and lightly polished and overall the condition is a high 7.5 out of 10. Very stunning item that is very rare or a one off and would make a statement in anyone’s home.
