A very nice example of an original Mid Century Sideboard from the English brand of Jentique. This sideboard has a very strong design with minimal styling. The sideboard has had the plinth removed and is set upon 12” hairpin legs. This has raised the height and given a spacious modern look to the cabinet. The sideboard has a sleek minimal design that is very inline with the Scandinavian influenced designs throughout this period. This sideboard has a nice deep teak colour patina and such a strong mid century design. The sideboard has two sliding doors and a bank of three drawers with the elongated sleek grab handles that match the doors. Very nicely designed item with good build quality that will fit seamlessly into anyones retro or contemporary styled home.
This sideboard is in very clean condition. With some signs of wear and tear but all in line with age. The handles show the original stain wearing and above the top drawer slightly. It has been throughly cleaned and has a buffing wax polish over the original finish to enhance the wonderful grain and future protection. Very clean top with lovely plain teak grains and no breaks or significant damage to the item. If there are any obvious defects they are shown in the pictures. Slight fade marks on the top from previous top unit.
Overall this item is a 8.5 out of 10 and is a stunning item from the mid century that has been enhanced with a modern touch.
