This long sleek sideboard is quite simply stunning with its smooth teak veneer and unusual style. The sideboard has a very minimalist symmetrical design and has strong Scandinavian influences. The piece has lovely louvred doors and has a similar look to a radiogram. We are unsure of the brand of this item but suspect it’s Danish. The unit consist of double central Drop down cupboards and cupboards at each end. One cupboard has three drawers with the top lined for cutlery. A very stylish with wonderful solid afromosia legs that are attached to the side. That really makes this sideboard stand out and unusual. This would look fabulous in a mid century modern or contemporary themed home.
The sideboard has been completely cleaned and rubbed back. Then it has been finished in layers of osmo hard wax oil to restore a deep shine to the teak and protect the vintage wood. This item is in good condition with a very clean top and all over nice veneer grain. There are no mayor defects or damage but the sides show some dark marks to the varnish. The item is not new and shows signs of previous use. After refinishing, the sideboard is a 7.5 out of 10 for condition and is a stunning example of high quality mid Century furniture.
