A Stunning Unix Modular Oak Bookcase by Phoenix Gallery London c.1950s. These amazingly designed bookcases are absolutely perfect for any bookworms out there or they also fit 7″ vinyl records in some of the spaces.
Made by The Phoenix Gallery of St. Martins Lane, Charing Cross London probably in the mid-1950s of solid English Oak. The configuration shown in the photos is what you will receive. There is two larger bookcases and two smaller ones. There is 14 compartments in total.
You can change the layout very easily as these bookcases were designed to be fully modular and also there are many sections available online should you wish to expand this system.
All units have original labels and “Unix” labels intact.
Very good structurally but for show signs of use and ring marks. They are in the original condition and have been lightly cleaned. They have plenty of retro charm and a lovely patina. There is no damage to any unit. Overall 7 out of 10 for Condition. Please see pictures for any major marks or defects.
