Stunning solid mahogany 'Penguin' bookcase by Beaver & Tapley. Originally designed, made & named to house Pengiun paperbacks books. It’s has nine individuals shelf compartments with back rail. This book case is set on sleek compass style legs that are attached to the outside of the unit giving it a very stylish atomic look. These are getting rarer to find and would make a great addition to anyones home for books or collectibles.
Nice original condition. Has been refinished in a buffing wax and has really enhanced the original finish. Some small marks but nothing major very sturdy and solid. Overall condition is a 8 out of 10
