This is a stunning example of a rare early g plan teak sideboard. This is from a very short lived g plan range back in the late 50s. There are very few examples of this model or any of the items from this g plan range. It wasn’t massed produced like the fresco range. This sideboard has a very sleek and minimal design and has lovely simplistic handles. This desk has a central bank of three drawers and double cupboards either side. This symmetrical layout sideboard is built to g plan great quality and is a great compact size. This would make a stunning addition to anyone’s home.
The unit has been thouroughly cleaned and refinished in a combination of danish oils and waxes to give it the deep shine to the wood. This item is in very good condition and would say condition wise, its an 8.5 out of 10. This has a very clean top and this is stunning g plan item with lovely light teak grains so popular in the 50s. There are no significant marks or scratches. This sideboard shows very minimal wear and was very well looked after . Any marks or wear will be shown in the photographs.
