Beautiful and rare Elliots of Newbury Teak Sideboard . This has a slightly curved shaped front and has lovely simplistic lines. The cabinet has three large bottom drawers with rosewood octagonal handles along with reeded front top drawers. It’s a great compact size of 150cm and has great reeded design details. A scarcely seen stunning sideboard with great Scandinavian inspired design.
The sideboard has been stripped and re polished in a French shellac polish with a buffing wax. This has given a deep shine to the teak and the rosewood. There are no loose parts or any damage. The sideboard shows minor use and has been extremely well looked after. (The felt is worn slightly in the cutlery drawer). The top is extremely clean and shows no defects. This is a stunning example of english furniture from the mid century. I would say that the condition is a 8.5 out of 10.
