A stunning and scarce, mid century sideboard manufactured by UK maker Everest. This sideboard dates from the 1950s. This has an amazing design with the striking geometric pattern to the front of the cupboard doors which is inlaid into the walnut veneer. The walnut veneer to the top and front contrasts beautifully with the rich darker wood legs. This sideboard features gorgeous full length legs, stunning beech lined interior and baize lined pull out drawers. This is a great item and a real statement piece of mid century furniture.
the sideboard has been cleaned and rubbed back. Then it has been completely refinished with a buffing wax. This has enhanced the original finish and given the walnut a very deep shine. The sideboard shows minimal wear and has been very well looked after for the last 70 years. There are some surfaces scratches and some signs of use but overall after a refinish this sideboard is a 8.5 out of 10.
