This is a super stylish and rare coffee table and is from the makers Mcintosh. This is the ‘Sunburst’ coffee table and designed by Tom Robertson for A. H. McIntosh. This design has amazing marquetry with the wood veneers that creates a sunburst effect on the top. The build quality is very high end as you would expect from Mcintosh furniture and is a stunning item that will made a statement in anyones home.
This coffee table has been completely stripped back. Then it has been refinished in multiple layers of hard wax oil to really show off the stunning veneer gradient to the top. This has also has given the table a deep shine and protection to the wonderful teak wood. This is a very clean example and the overall condition is an 8.5 out of 10. This is a vintage item so will show signs of previous use so please see pictures for any obvious defects or marks.
