A beautifully designed & crafted 1950s walnut dressing table manufactured by the renowned & highly collectible cabinet maker Alfred Cox of Great Britain. Featuring one large central drawer and two smaller end drawers. Stunning walnut veneers, elegant turned handles and the classic Alfred Cox splayed leg base. Large tilting mirror with swooping curved top. A real rare item and stunningly designed item that will fit into any collectors collection or a retro themed bedroom. Mirror can be removed to use as a desk and would be perfect for a home office.
The unit is in lovely refinished condition and were originally very well looked after. It show minimal polish marks and surface scratches and has been cleaned and rubbed back and refinished with coats of danish oil and buffing wax. This gives them the original deep shine they would of had. Very nice contrasting grains between the walnut and lighter wood. It’s overall condition is a very high 8.5 out of 10. Any significant marks or defects are shown in the pictures.
