Stylish Mid Century Alfred Cox Walnut Dressing Table retailed through Heals London with makers label to top drawer. Five spacious drawers that are beautifully dovetailed as one would expect from this maker and run as they should. The three mirrors slot onto metal rods fixed to back of dressing table which can be removed if desired. This dressing table has the classic Alfred Cox walnut veneer along with great build quality and a stunning design. A real rare item that will fit into any collectors collection or a retro themed bedroom. The unit is in lovely refinished condition and were originally very well looked after. It show minimal polish marks and surface scratches and has been cleaned and rubbed back and refinished with coats of hard wax oil and buffing wax. This gives them the original deep shine they would of had. Very nice contrasting grains between the walnut and lighter wood. A filled part of the light walnut veneer on a drawer front is shown in the pictures. There is also a small dent to the top it’s very hard to see. It’s overall condition is a very high 8.5 out of 10. Any significant marks or defects are shown in the pictures. The unit also come with a glass top sheet to protect the wonderful top.
