A very nice example of a original Mid Century Sideboard from the Portsmouth Brand of White and Newton. This long teak sideboard has very sleek minimalist style very typical of white and newton. This is of high quality as are all White and Newton sideboards and its a very heavy solid item of furniture. The simplistic design along with minimalist styling and great lines makes this a very nice example of Danish influenced furniture from the mid century. The sideboard has 3 end drawers with grooved out pull handles and the top drawer lined in black vinyl and with dividers. There are two sliding doors with contrasting solid wood handles. This sideboard has amazingly designed legs and plenty of internal storage. The internal shelves are fixed into place. This sideboard is one of the rarer models of this wonderful brand and would make a real impact in anyone’s home.
This sideboard is in stunning condition. It has been completely stripped and refinished in hardwax oil and buffing wax. There are feint marks on the legs but overall extremely clean with no mana or defects. Overall this item is a a very high 8.5 out of 10 and would look stunning in a mid century themed or contemporary home.
