Vintage Teak G Plan Fresco Display Cabinet/Bookcase/Drinks Cabinet. The unit has been set upon 14” hairpin legs giving the cabinet a more sleek minimal look. The mid century cabinet has a retro stylish design very typical of G Plan in the mid 60s. The build quality of G Plan is very good. This unit has smooth teak grains and is a stunning item that will fit in a traditional or contemporary styled room. The unit has a open display area with shelf at the top and a drop down drinks cabinet at the bottom.
The lighting in the cabinet is LED strip light. Safe and economical.
Condition:-
Condition wise this will be an 8 out of 10. The cabinet has been rubbed back and refinished with multiple layers of oil. Very clean example with minimal signs of use.
As with most Mid Century items of furniture, there will be signs of prior use, surface scratches, fading etc. Please see photo’s for any obvious dents or knocks.
As an anti topple measure and for safety reasons we do recommend that our bookcases and highboards should be attached to walls with furniture safety straps which can be purchased online. Many different types of straps are available. Any screws must be attached to the tops of the units rather than through the back.
Hairpin legs can be customised with colour and height to suit your colour scheme and needs.
