Very rare G Plan E Gomme 1950s room divider. This lovely G plan room divider is from early 1950s Brandon range and is constructed with solid oak and light oak veneer. This room divider has a very strong Scandinavian influence in the design. of the open shelves and the finished back that would allow this item to stand in the centre of a room or to divide one space and still look stunning from all angles. The item a mini sideboard at the bottom with two sliding doors one oak and one black this goes well with the staggered black adjustable shelving. there is then a drop down cocktail compartment with internal shelf. Overall this is a very retro quirky statement piece of G plan furniture and would make a real impact in anyones home.
The condition of the sideboard is good extremely clean. It has been cleaned down and refinished with a buffing hard wax. This has given the oak and the black a lovely shine and great protection to the fantastic original varnish. This is a rare example and near immaculate condition. Overall a high 8.5 out of 10 with no major defect or damage. Light scratch to the top of the bottom unit. (Shown in the pictures).
