Stunning Pair of Wardrobes Tallboy in limed Oak and Embroidered Handles

A beautifully designed & crafted pair of early 1950s oak matching wardrobes. We are unsure of the brand of these matching units but they date from the 50s with their lovely curved edges and rounded feet. They have stunning rolled handles with a covered embroidery strip. They are made from a oak veneer that has a liming style finish. They are very fresh and light colour. There is a larger two door wardrobe and one smaller unit with hanging rail, drawers and small cupboard. We have not seen any other similar before and they have very nice vintage charm that would look fantastic in a modern or vintage bedroom. Smaller wardrobe has key mechanisms and the bigger one has roller catches with locks removed. The wardrobes are in great original condition. They have been lightly cleaned and wax polished. There are some light scratches and scuff on one door edge. There is a small chip repair on the smaller unit. There is no major damage to either wardrobe and they are very solid built. Overall condition is an 8 out of 10 for both wardrobes. Any significant marks or defects are shown in the pictures. Price is for the pair.
