This antique tiger bamboo staggered shelving unit is a beautiful and functional piece of furniture. This dates to around the 1920s or a bit earlier and has the bamboo with darker spots and colourations on it. It would be great for creating extra storage space and as a backdrop for displaying decorative items and books and will be perfect for smaller spaces. Due to its size and depth it can fit into narrow hallways or a bathroom.
It comes in a nice vintage condition with some signs of wear commensurate with age, such as a few splits in the bamboo and darker areas. Please see close ups photos for details on the condition. Due to the materials and age the unit also has movement in the joints. Has been used but but not major damage or defects.
