This beautiful piece was designed as an extension to Ercol Plank dining table (it turns a six seater table into eight seater) however it can also be used as a side / hall table, laptop or writing desk when not in use with the dining table.
The kidney-shaped table top (light finish) is made from planks of nicely figured solid English elm with the grain across the width. The sides and ends of the table are gently curved, the corners are radiused and the edges rounded over. The table is supported on three square tapering beech legs set at a splayed angle.
The table has been completely stripped and refinished with coats of hardwax oil and buffing wax. It is immaculate in condition and shows no defects or much wear.
