This chair, designed by Lucian Ercolani in 1962, was created to showcase the craftsmanship of the Ercol factory. It embodies all the signature Ercol features: a double-bow seat back with a central slat and eight turned spindles, along with upward turned armrests supported by three spindles. Crafted from solid English elm and beech, it's an elegant piece of British design that prioritizes both comfort and durability. This also comes with the original seat cushion that’s in an orange textured bucle fabric. This design is still produced today this one has a early gold and blue label and dates from the early 1960s.
The chair is in a good used original condition. The frame has been lightly polished. There are some light marks on the spindles and some wear to the legs and arm rests. The seat cushion is also in good condition. Overall very clean condition with no major defects or damage.
