Very nice solid mahogany display cabinet from the late 1950s. We are unsure of the brand if this item but it’s very has been made to high standard. It’s very similar to some early Morris of Glasgow furniture. The cabinet is constructed out of smooth solid mahogany with large sliding glass doors set upon sleek brass capped legs. The cabinet also has 6 removable shelves. This is a great item of Mid Century furniture that would complement anyones home.
The sideboard has been completely stripped back to the wood and refinished with a french polish. This has given a nice deep shine to the wood and brought out the dark red mahogany colour while protecting the wood. The cabinet shows minimal signs of use and is damage free. There are some very light marks on the bottom rail and to the brass feet caps but overall very clean item. A 8.5 out 10 for condition
