Here is a large Vintage Mid Century Teak Display Storage Cabinet on Hairpin Legs. this wonderful cabinet is made by William Lawrence and is very well made. The unit has a long double glazed cupboard, drop down drinks cabinet and open shelving. This wall unit has ample storage and is a fabulous display cabinet. This item will make a great statement and also very practical display cabinet, dining room dresser etc.
For Health & Safety reasons, it is recommended that all our Bookcases/Display/Highboard unit’s are fixed to the wall with a set of Furniture Safety Straps as an anti-topple measure. Any screws must be attached to the tops of the units rather than through the back. The old lights have been removed and LED strip lights have been fitted that give a nice warm glow to the unit.
This unit has been cleaned and rubbed backed. Then multiple layers of oil and hard wax have been applied. This gives the high board a deep shine and enhanced protection. For overall condition this item is a very high 8 out of 10 showing very little signs of wear and usage. Some in grain paint marks on the top shown in the pictures. This is a stunning example of well looked after mid century furniture. As with most Mid Century items of furniture, there will be signs of prior use, surface scratches, fading etc. But nothing to detract from how stunning this item looks.
