Original mid century chest of drawers with four drawers that incorporate dark wood grab handles. This is made by the UK brand William Lawrence who are known for high quality items of furniture from the mid century. This has a very nice minimal danish influenced design and uses very nice smooth quality teak veneer. These drawers are set on the original plinth and are built to a good standard. These drawers are quite wide and the drawers are of a good size, with plenty of storage and would fit nicely into someones retro or contemporary home.
This drawers are in very nice vintage condition, the chest has been cleaned back and finished with a multiple layers of oils and wax. As with most mid century furniture, there will be signs of prior use i.e. a filled dark stain to the top - please see photos’. The drawers are a 7.5 out of 10 and show signs of light use but are structurally very good with smooth running drawers. This is an impressive looking item and in great condition from the mid century.
